Immersive Location & Technical Services

We help take immersive productions out of the studio and into the spaces where audiences will experience them. From venue sourcing and site surveys to staging, installation and show control, we handle the practical work of delivering an immersive experience on site.

That can mean a permanent venue, a temporary installation, a touring production or a mobile dome. The approach changes with the location, but the goal stays the same: make the experience work properly in the space it has to live in.

Venue sourcing and location planning

Our work with planetariums, science centres, museums, theatres and immersive venues has given us a global network of potential locations, from specialist venues to major event spaces.

We can help identify and assess locations based on the requirements of the production, including:

• Venue scouting and location sourcing
• Site feasibility and technical assessment
• Spatial planning and audience capacity
• Temporary, mobile and permanent dome locations
• Venue coordination and local technical requirements
• Adapting productions to existing spaces rather than designing around a theoretical venue

The location is part of the production. We assess the space early so that technical and creative decisions are based on what can actually be delivered there.

Site surveys and technical installation

Once a location is confirmed, we can take care of the practical work needed to prepare the experience.

This can include:

• On-site surveys and precise spatial measurements
• Staging, rigging and equipment placement
• Projection and LED system installation
• Media servers and playback systems
• Show control and system integration
• Technical testing, calibration and commissioning
• Coordination with venue teams and local suppliers

We work with the existing infrastructure where possible, while identifying the changes or additional equipment needed to achieve the required result.

Touring and mobile immersive experiences

Immersive productions often need to work in more than one location. We plan touring shows, pop-up installations and mobile dome experiences around the realities of repeated installation.

That means defining a setup that can be reproduced reliably, documenting the technical requirements and adapting to the differences between venues without changing the experience unnecessarily.

For multi-city productions, we can support venue assessment, technical planning, installation and local coordination across the rollout.

Consistent delivery across locations

A production should not feel like a different show every time it moves.

We standardise the elements that need to stay consistent — from technical specifications and playback to installation procedures and show control — while allowing for the practical differences between venues.

Where appropriate, we also consider energy consumption, equipment efficiency and the logistics required to move and install a production repeatedly.

From venue to audience

Location services sit between production and the real-world environment in which an immersive experience is experienced.

We can join a project before the venue is selected, support the technical planning once a location is confirmed, or take responsibility for on-site delivery and installation.

The result is a production that has been designed not just for a format, but for the actual space, equipment and audience it will encounter.
